Sometimes, we receive articles and guest post submissions for link-building purposes. Therefore, it is important that we clarify some conceptions or misconceptions about such articles.

  • Articles with links are accepted.
  • There is no limit on authority links or contextual links in the article. For example, links that you are using as a reference, credibility, etc. Please make sure to add two to three links to authority sites when stating facts and statistics.
  • Please add 1-2 links to articles on Articledesk.net. This is very important to us.
  • You are allowed a maximum of one link to your personal blog or website in the body of the article.
  • Links need to be pointing to a blog post on your website.
  • Links to Home Pages or Product Pages will be removed.

We do not guarantee specific types of backlinks in articles. External links in articles are accepted but only on the condition that they add value to the article itself.

External backlinks should occur naturally in the article and shouldn’t be hidden in any form. We know about link building and other SEO practices.

Authors and contributors get a link on their profile to their website.

We don’t want a rough draft, partial draft, or a short pitch. We might not respond to you if you send any of those.

We want a complete article submission. A proposed article that you’ve already written with topic and body. The more complete your submission is, the better feedback we can give you.

We only accept original content. Fresh articles that are not on the web including your blog.

We don’t accept press releases or sales pitches.

Your topic must have a clear argument not just lists of tips and tricks. It should be bold, interesting and sound human.

Content: We love useful posts that answer a question or solves a problem. We prefer short paragraphs, about two to three sentences each.

Accuracy: This is very important. We only want factual and well-researched articles.

Originality: Articles must be written by you. No plagiarism in any form. It must not have been published anywhere else on the web. We always triple check this before accepting an article.

Length: We publish articles of anywhere between 1200 and 2500 words, depending on the complexity of the subject. 1,500 words are our average length.

Tone: The tone and content of the article may be casual or structured but must sound human.

We love personalized content with a unique voice that is open-hearted, inspiring, positive, informative, and inclusive.

The headline must reflect the content of the article.

Language: The language is English. British or American English depending on your preference. Make it simple enough for an eight-year-old child to understand. You can use the Hemmingway App to simplify your article.

Grammar: If your article requires a lot of editing, we may choose to reject it. Please use Grammarly App to check your grammar.

Post format: We prefer submissions as Google documents so that our editors can easily provide feedback within your draft.

Images: Images should be sent as an attachment with the email and properly labeled. It must not be included in the article. We recommend that you use Pixabay to source for images.

Bio: A two-sentence bio about yourself with a link to your blog, or website and social media profiles. This is an opportunity for you to sell your brand and promote your services.

But remember, just two sentences and one backlink to your website or blog.

You will get an email from an editor with notes to revise your article or a live link to your published article within 72 hours.

What to do if your article is accepted and published
