It has a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS panel and, a hertz screen covers 100 SRGB measured in at almost 500 nits of brightness & its HDR certified and has Dolby vision. The bezels are reasonably slim and, the screen on the legion 7i is good for gaming, watching videos, viewing documents, and performing every other task.

These specs are powerful enough to handle more than just gaming if you’re an aspiring graphic designer, engineering student, programmer, or any other creative professional work. The Legion 7i is a great option for a wide range of users because it’s quite affordable depending on the configuration you want.

Gaming

Getting a gaming laptop, you would have done the research to look for a laptop to play your favorite games without lag and dropping frames. Gaming at 1080P in high settings in several games has been no problem for the RTX.

The Lenovo Legion 7i can be upgraded to an RTX 2080 super Max-Q if you desire more horsepower while gaming and running performance benchmarks. For thermal performance, the fans did ramp up to maintain good thermals but never got too loud. Lenovo did a decent job with the integrated vapor chamber and dual fan system.

If you’re not a fan of RGB, you can turn that service off or even uninstall it if you don’t plan to use it in the future.   • At the top of the display houses, a 720P webcam with a privacy shutter, this type of webcam isn’t recommended for live streaming only for video calls like zoom and google meets it’s good enough.
  • The speakers are bottom-firing and it’s an adobe Atmos speaker system with dual sound chambers, both get loud and they’re clear with no distortion. The speaker can’t be compared with a lot of desktop speakers or front-facing laptop speakers. options The Lenovo Legion 7i sounds good for watching movies, listening to music, and when gaming it’s sounds great but most importantly I suggest headphones when you’re gaming.

The Legion 7i is a good gaming laptop that can meet the needs of many content creators, students, and working professionals. The screen is bright and color accurate. The build quality is good and, the gaming performance is good. There is no SD card reader and a 4k display option but these are small things most users need. This laptop starts at a little over $1200.
